Two Staff Tuesday: Meet Laura G. and Mackenzie H.

Flat Rock is really excited to have two returning, passionate, and creative folks running the ranch for 2017. The excitement for what they plan to bring to the ranch makes us want to scream..but we don’t want to be hoarse… for session 1!!

Meet Laura and Mackenzie:

Hey! I’m Laura, this will be my 2nd summer here at Flat Rock as Ranch Director. I’m from a small village in not so sunny Scotland. Camp is where I learned about me; facing fears, trying new things, pushing my boundaries and accepting myself. I love watching camp do the same for my campers. If you ever need to find me I’ll be at  the ranch or by the coffee machine. Fun fact about me is I’ve only touched a horse once since last summer.

Hi everyone! I’m Mackenzie and I am the Assistant Ranch Director. I am from Noblesville, IN but go to school at Indiana State Univeristy in Terre Haute, IN. This will be my 4th summer and I love it more and more every year. You will find me either on the Hill or up with the horses. I enjoy the new learning opportunities each year. A fun fact about me is I take my bunny for walks and dress her as a fish. I can’t wait to see everyone this summer!
