What a fantastic Wednesday! Lucky for our campers the rain did not hit until after their clinics were done and it was cabin time!

Our meals today were…

Breakfast today was breakfast pizza, fruit and yogurt, cereal, and toast with milk and juice.

At Lunch we had grilled cheese, chicken noodle soup, sliced pickles, gold fish crackers, salad bar, deli bar and pb&j bar.

The rain has passed and there is a hint of sunshine peeking through the clouds, so tonight’s activities are still taking place!

Tonight the Hill cabins and Yurt village are gathering for their cook-out style dinner of hamburgers, chips, coleslaw, and watermelon.
The Valley is off to their overnight adventure and will be cooking their dinner over an open fire, using a Dutch oven.

Cleanest cabins of the day…

On the Hill: Shawnee! Again!
Yurt village: Endeavor
Down in the Valley: Apache 2

At chapel today we talked about Caring. Through songs and skits our summer staff talked to the campers about what it means to care for one another.  Our Camp Director Don Sheppard talked about the story of the Good Samaritan.

Tonight’s activities include-

The Hill and Village will be having a pool party after their cookout.

Our teens in the Valley are going by horse to our outpost area to camp under the stars! The weather is looking beautiful for this evening.

We will be taking quite a few more pictures during our evening activities. We will be uploading those later this evening.
