Today was B-E-A-UTIFUL!! The Sun made its appearance.

Breakfast today was sausage egg and cheese on a Flat Rock biscuit, fruit and yogurt, cereal, and toast with milk and juice.

At Lunch we had meatball subs, baby carrots, French fries, sweet corn, salad bar, deli bar and pb&j bar.

Tonight the Hill cabins and Yurt village are gathering for their cook-out style dinner of hamburgers, chips, coleslaw, and watermelon.
The Valley is off to their overnight adventure and will be cooking their dinner over an open fire, using a Dutch oven.

At chapel today we talked about Caring. Through songs and skits our summer staff talked to the campers about what it means to care for one another.  Our Camp Director Don Sheppard talked about the story of the Good Samaritan.

 

Tonight’s activities include-

The Hill and Village will be having a pool party after their cookout.

Our teens in the Valley are going  to our outpost area to camp under the stars! The weather is looking beautiful for this evening.
