Summer Camp Staff:
We hire an exceptional summer camp staff each year to work with our campers. Through a very competitive process we select outstanding role models to serve as counselors and lead our programs. Many of our staff were former campers that have progressed through our leadership program and demonstrated the values and work ethic to be successful in crating an amazing summer for our kids. We also hire international staff to help our campers have the opportunity to learn about other cultures and countries from around the globe during their time at Flat Rock. Every member of our summer camp staff is over 18, must pass a drug test and background check, is CPR and First Aid trained and are chosen based on their passion for providing an amazing camp experience to youth! For more information about joining our staff team. contact Brian Keyes or visit our employment page by clicking the link at the top of our website.

School Year Staff:
Naturalist conduct our Outdoor Education program offered to school and youth groups whose mission is to promote understanding of and care for people and nature, through experiential education. Class topics include natural science, group development, values, challenge education, history, arts and crafts, environmental studies, recreation, and outdoor skills. The program links with the school curriculum, focusing on aspects best done out of the classroom, and outdoors. The Instructor team is hired and lead by Kirby Reis.  More information can be found on our Employment Opportunities page.
